Workshops For Schools, Clubs and Organisations
As part of our mission statement to make dance available to as many people as possible, Footworks Dance Co. is able to offer workshops of varing durations.
To date, we have provided workshops for schools, colleges, council organisations, first choice holidays, Stagecoach Theatre schools, Girl Guide groups, Scout groups, Special needs groups and for homeless people.
What we do
We will come to your venue and teach a dance workshop lasting from 60 minutes to several days long (as required). We begin with a warm-up, and will then teach a street dance routine combining old skool styles of popping, locking and b-boying with the newer styles of street dance.
Depending on the length of the workshop, the participants can be given an opportunity to create their own "Crew" and choreograph their own routine. The session ends with a cool-down, and if required a performance of the finished product.
What you do
The best way to contact us is by email. Ask us to send you a booking form, and terms and conditions. Please include the length of the workshop you require, and the times and dates you would prefer in your email. Please have alternative dates in mind as we get booked up very quickly.
