Q: What is my question is not answered here?
A: We will do our best to answer any questions that you may have but if you are looking for dance classes on a specific night please look at our class list and see if we can accomodate you. If not then take a look at the final question below.
Q: Is there a space in the class for me?
A: We try to limit the number of people in a class so that everyone can see the teacher and has enough space to dance. With this in mind we reccomend that you call or email to check first. Currently we have space in most classes, if you would like to reserve a space for next term please contact us ASAP.
Q: What should I wear?
A: You will need to be comfortable in what you are dancing in so we suggest you wear jogging bottoms, t-shirt and trainers. It is also advisable to wear a sweatshirt for the warm-up and cool down and please bring a drink of water.
Q: What style of dance will I be learning?
A: At Footworks we teach Street Dance which is a fusion of old skool and new skool hip hop styles. This includes; Popping, Locking, Breaking (B-boying) Funk, Crunk and also some Jazz and Modern.
Q: Do I have to pay for the full term?
A: You may try your first class for the weekly fee but after that you must pay for the full term for any of the childrens classes.
Q: How can I find dance classes in other styles, or classes that are closer to me?
A: The best way to find the dance class that you are looking for is to check out www.idta.co.uk Here you will find a comprehensive list of qualified dance teachers in your area in all styles.
